The Baroque (coming from the Italian word ‘barocco’ meaning “vicious, spoiled, intemperate”) is the interior style characterized by bravery, splendor and pretentiousness. In this style, the demonstration of the owner’s wealth is considered to be good form.
Paintings and art objects add up to the feeling of wealth and power in the Baroque interior. The Baroque interior is usually decorated with the originals or copies of paintings of XVII-XIX centuries in luxurious frames with the abundance of moldings.
