Ulyanovsk Regional Art Museum - one of the oldest museums in the Volga region, holds the most valuable cultural asset of all-Russian and world importance. Collection of the Art Museum began to take shape in 1895 as an art section of historical and archaeological museum Simbirsk provincial scientific archive committee.
