Movement Of Light

There are days when everything is transparent like air when everything is in its place and you feel almost weightless. The gaze slides over objects but sees only light, glare, and distance. Lyrical doing nothing. On such days it is easy to write, of course. It happens, but rarely.

The main idea of the picture is to convey a sense of lightness, serenity, simplicity.
Transparent glazing and a lot of light work for this image. Open colors give a sense of clarity to the world. The bouquet is reflected, repeated, linen swaying in the wind, random strokes: all this gives movement. The distance is clear without details, as in youth when the world seemed clear.
This work was inspired by the memories of my father’s home. It happens that I want to go back there.
