The Conceptual, or the Conceptualist, art (coming from the Latin word “conceptus” meaning a “thought, idea”) is the trend of postmodernism, where the concept behind the object is more important than its artistic presentation. The Conceptual art refers not to the emotional perception of the seen, but to its intellectual comprehension.
