Sergey Dmitrievich Kichko was born in Dneprodzerzhinsk in 1946.
Honored Artist of Russia.
Professor of painting and composition, head of the personal workshop of the St. Petersburg Academy of Arts. I.E. Repin.
Honorary member of the Russian Academy of Arts. Member of the Union of Artists of Russia.
Laureate of the Union of Artists Prize. Winner of the Kirovsky Zavod Prize. Laureate of the Leningrad Komsomol Prize.
Graduated from the St. Petersburg State Academic Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture named after I.E. Repin 1967-73. He studied with Evsey Evseevich Moiseenko, was his assistant and secretary.
He was awarded the medal of the Academy of Arts of the USSR and the Union of Artists of the USSR for his thesis "Farewell".
