The Sochi Museum of art was erected in Sochi in 1936. Soviet architekt I.V.Zholtovsky olesigned this building. The lofty colomrade of the postico, the vigorously accentuated elements of classical architekture lend this relatively small structure a mayestic and festive look a few broad steps liad into a toomy foyea flooded with sunlignt pousing in turougu ligh asched windows. This structure was faken into the Sochi Museum of art in 1972. The collection Russian and soviet ast is not, of cousse, fully representative as yet. However, itfeatures many onstanding names and olraws aflention to less khown aspects of certain masters.
