The Vasnetsov Brothers Art Museum is on of the oldest and richest provincial museums of Russia. The museum was founded on December 5/18, 1910.
The Collection possesses over 17000 works of art. It boasts icons, early Russian embroidery, works of art of the famous Russian artists (paintings, drawings, prints, water colours, engravings, sculptures, folk and applied arts).
