Voronezh State Academy of Arts was founded in August 19, 1971.
The former name «Voronezh State Institute of Arts» was changed under the decree of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation dated December 8, 1998; in accordance with the decree of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation dated June 20, 1998.
