1889-1892 - attended the Central School of Technical Drawing of Baron AL Stieglitz.
1892-1900 - studied at the St. Petersburg Academy of Arts.
1898-1899 - worked in Paris in the studio of James Whistler.
A member of the artistic association "World of Art" and "Four Arts".
1918-1922 - taught at the Higher Institute of photography and photographic equipment
1934-1935 - taught at the Academy of Fine Arts.
