The exhibition is dedicated to Anna Semyonovna Golubkina (1864-1927), an outstanding sculptor and leading representative of the Moscow School of Art and Sculpture.
The exhibition displays over 30 sculptures and a number of drawings by the artist taken from the Tretyakov Gallery collection and one of its divisions - the Anna Golubkina Museum Master Class.
The sculptor’s works will be displayed in a dialogue with canvasses by artists who were close to her in spirit and who had previously been involved in exhibitions with her, for example: Pavel Kuznetsov, Nikolai Sapunov, Martiros Saryan and Viktor Borisov-Musatov.
